Who I am
About
I'm a concept-driven fashion and textile designer based in New York, currently completing an MFA in Fashion Design & Society at Parsons School of Design, building on a BA in Textile Design from the National College of Arts in Pakistan (GPA 4.0/4.0).
My work spans New York Fashion Week production — backstage fittings, rapid outfit changes, and runway logistics for Amir Taghi — alongside hands-on textile craftsmanship: off-loom weaving, surface manipulation, and natural dyeing.
I'm drawn to editorial fashion and material-led processes, translating research and cultural references into handcrafted textiles, garments, and objects, with exceptional organization and attention to detail across every stage of production.
